This interactive was created for our Preview Center which allows visitors to see the features of the building by stepping through floor plans on a touch screen. The user selects the floor they want to see and then can highlight the individual rooms on the floor with the label button at the top. To further give an understanding on how the floors stack, when a user switches to a new floor, the plan slides off screen in the direction they are traveling showing the next floor in the stack until the destination is reached. This helps to illustrate the elevations as the user would encounter them in real life.
The user has selected the Main Offices feature button, causing the Main Offices on the floor plan to glow yellow to indicate their location.
The user has selected Main Level while looking at the Mezzanine Level, thus the Mezzanine level slides off the top of the screen with the Main Level sliding on from the bottom to illustrate how the levels stack.
Once the level comes to rest, the level description and the feature buttons fade in for the user to interact with.
Now the user is free to choose a feature of this level or select a new level to explore.
